About The App

  • The App is currently in the Alpha Build stage and only available online at www.GameHavenGuild.app. Eventually, a native Android and iOS app will be available once the build is complete.

  • Yes! Game Haven Guild is completely free for game stores.

    • The core of our platform relies on stores being able to easily update calendars, share announcements, and keep their communities informed—without any barriers.

    • We understand that running a game store comes with many challenges, and our goal is to support your business, not add another cost or complication. By making the platform free, we ensure that every store can participate, grow their community, and bring more players through the door.

  • Right now, Game Haven Guild does not make money. That is why there is limited image or video sharing, to keep operating cost low while we learn from the community what features are desired. Eventually, we plan to make revenue from some combination of ad revenue, charging for industry accounts and/or premium accounts for additional features.

Check In Feature

    • Each store has a unique QR code that can be scanned through the GHG App.

    • Scanning the QR code checks you into the store as well as any event and/or game you have registered for.

    • Stores and Game Haven Guild can offer incentives such as free gifts or prize drawings, with eligibility based on users who check in to the store, an event, or a specific game session.

    • Stores can view the game titles and categories that checked-in customers follow, helping stores better understand visitor interests and make informed decisions about product assortments and future event planning.

  • No personally identifiable information is ever shared—including email, username, first name, or birthday.

    Stores can then view aggregated, non-identifiable trends such as:

    • How frequently users check in after different types of events

    • The percentage of checked-in users who follow specific games or categories

    • For users who check in for a particular game, which other games they follow in aggregate

    This allows stores to understand community interests and behavior without accessing any personal user information.n

    • Lighting: Make sure the QR code is well-lit without glare or shadows

    • Distance: Hold your phone 6-12 inches from the QR code

    • Angle: Keep your phone parallel to the QR code (not tilted)

    • Focus: Wait for the camera to focus - the image should be sharp and clear

    • Steadiness: Hold your phone steady when clicking "Scan Now"

    • Clean lens: Wipe your camera lens if the image looks blurry

    • Full QR code: Ensure the entire QR code is visible in the red square
