Store Dashboard Guide
The Store Dashboard is the first thing you see when you open your store's management tools — and it's designed to answer one question at a glance: what needs my attention today?
Every tile is a doorway into a full management screen, and every number reflects today (in your store's timezone). This guide explains the header, the three tile groups, what each number means, and what the flashing and "Inactive" states are telling you.
The Header
At the top of the dashboard you'll find:
"Store Dashboard: Today" — the page title, anchoring that every number below is for today.
Your store name — so multi-store owners always know which location they're managing.
Review Status badge — your store's visibility state:
🟢 Active — your store is live and visible to gamers.
🟡 Under Review — your profile is pending approval. You can view and edit your profile, but it isn't visible to gamers yet, and you can't post events or announcements.
🔴 Deactivated — your store has been taken offline. Contact support for details.
Payments badge — whether you've connected Stripe:
🟢 Payments On — Stripe Connect onboarding is complete; you can collect payments.
⚪ Payments Off — payments aren't set up; events/memberships/reservations stay free.
Status Alerts
When something needs your attention, a colored alert bar appears beneath the header:
Yellow — store is under review (owner sees a nudge to complete the profile; staff see a notice the store isn't public yet).
Red — store is deactivated.
Blue — profile is incomplete (owner only). Complete it to get listed and start posting.
The Three Tile Groups
Tiles are organized into three rows by priority and function. Each tile is color-coded by group, shows a big number (or label) for today, and either links to a management page or shows an "Inactive" state if the feature is turned off.
Row 1 — Priority Actions (Red)
These are the things that most need a human response right now.
Messages shows the count of unread conversations — conversations with at least one unread message from a gamer. It flashes when greater than 0 and links to Store Messages Management.
Announcements shows how many announcements you've already posted today — a quick sanity check that you're staying active. It links to Store Announcement Management.
Members shows the count of membership signups awaiting your approval — the number that actually needs you to do something. It flashes when greater than 0 and links to Store Memberships Management.
Row 2 — Store Management (Emerald/Green)
This is the core content you run your store around.
Events shows events with a start date of today, excluding removed or cancelled ones. It links to Store Event Management.
Reservations shows table reservations occurring today (upcoming or completed). It shows "Inactive" if reservations aren't enabled, and links to Store Reservations Management when active.
Matchmaking shows gamer matchmaking posts scheduled for today. It shows "Inactive" if gamer matchmaking isn't enabled, and links to Store Matchmaking Management when active.
Row 3 — Tools (Slate/Gray)
Supporting utilities — no flashing, just quick access.
Analytics shows the number of store check-ins recorded today, giving you a pulse on foot traffic. It's visible only to owners and staff with analytics access, and links to Store Analytics Management.
Invite reads "Invite a customer" and opens the signup form with your store pre-selected, so you can onboard someone in person at your counter.
QR Code reads "Store check-in" and opens your store's check-in QR code page.
Advanced reads "Store settings" and opens deep configuration — profile, payments, integrations, employees, and more. Owners and advanced-settings staff only.
What the Numbers Mean (and Don't Mean)
Every number is "today" — computed in your store's timezone, not UTC. A late-evening event won't drift to "tomorrow" just because UTC rolled over.
Counts are action-oriented, not lifetime totals:
Messages = unread conversations (not individual messages).
Announcements = how many you posted today (a quick sanity check that you're staying active).
Members = pending requests awaiting your approval — the number that actually needs you to do something.
Events / Reservations / Matchmaking = what's happening at your store today.
Analytics = check-ins today (a pulse on foot traffic).
Announcements tile never flashes — it's informational, showing your posting cadence.
Messages and Members tiles flash when their count is greater than 0, because both require a response from you.
Flashing Tiles — What the Pulse Means
When a Priority Actions tile has a yellow ring and a pulsing animation, it's calling for your attention:
Messages flashing → you have unread conversations. Tap to open Messages and reply.
Members flashing → someone requested membership and is waiting on your approval. Tap to open Memberships Management and Approve or Reject.
The pulse is the dashboard's way of saying "don't leave this for later" — it stops the moment you clear the unread messages or pending requests (the count drops to 0 and the ring disappears).
"Inactive" Tiles — What the Gray State Means
When a feature isn't turned on, its tile turns gray with an "Inactive" badge in the corner and isn't clickable — tapping does nothing, by design, because there's nothing to manage yet.
Reservations Inactive → table reservations aren't enabled. Turn them on in Reservation Configuration first.
Matchmaking Inactive → gamer matchmaking isn't enabled for your store. Enable it in Matchmaking Configuration first.
Members Inactive → the membership program isn't enabled (or has no levels). Add a level and enable the program in Membership Configuration first.
Inactive tiles are a guardrail, not an error — they prevent you from landing on an empty management screen with no setup path. Enable the feature in its configuration page and the tile lights up and becomes clickable.
Who Sees What (Employee Access)
Owners see every tile. Employees see only the tiles their tab access allows:
Messages, Announcements, Members, Events, Reservations, Matchmaking — visible unless explicitly disabled.
Analytics, Advanced — hidden unless explicitly enabled. These are sensitive areas, so access is opt-in per employee.
If an employee doesn't see a tile, the store owner hasn't granted that tab's access in Employee Configuration.
