Social Media Guide

Turn every event and update into shareable content in minutes. Game Haven Guild's social sharing and AI calendar image tools let you push news to your communities, cross-post to every major platform, and generate professional images from your store calendar — all without leaving your dashboard.

Sharing Your News

Your store's News tab is the single place you post updates, announcements, and promotions. Every post you publish can go out to your connected social channels automatically and be cross-posted everywhere else with one tap.

Connecting Your Channels

Open Store Dashboard → Advanced Settings →Social Connections and connect the channels you want to publish to automatically:

  • Discord — Paste a channel webhook URL and every news post is pushed straight to that channel the moment you publish.

  • Bluesky — Add your handle and an app password (generated in your Bluesky Settings → App Passwords) and posts publish to your Bluesky feed automatically.

A green checkmark appears next to each channel once a post has been successfully delivered, so you always know it went out. To keep your feed clean, the app never re-posts the same news item to a channel twice.

Manual Cross-Posting

Not every platform can be auto-posted, so we made manual sharing effortless. Each news post comes with share buttons for the channels you reach by hand:

  • Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok — On mobile, tapping a button opens the platform's native app ready to paste; on desktop, it opens the platform's website. We pre-load the link and caption for you — just hit post.

  • Copy — One tap copies your post's text and link to the clipboard for anywhere else you publish: email newsletters, Reddit, community forums, your own website.

Posting News

From the News tab, tap Create New. Write your title and content, attach an optional image or call-to-action button, and hit Post. The moment you publish, your connected Discord and Bluesky channels light up automatically — no copy-pasting, no extra steps.

Generating Calendar Images

A great poster sells out an event. The Generate Calendar Image tool turns your live store calendar into a polished, printable poster — designed for social feeds, printed flyers, and in-store displays — using AI, in about a minute.

Where to Find It

From the News editor, tap the Generate Calendar Image button. The generator opens full-screen so your work is never interrupted, and your selections stay saved if you back out and return to fine-tune.

Step 1 — Select Your Events

Choose a date range and pick how you want to filter:

  • Events — Select individual events from your calendar.

  • Games — Pull every upcoming event for the games you choose.

  • Categories — Grab everything in a game category (board games, CCG, war games, RPG).

Use All to include everything in range, or tap individual items to curate a focused poster. A live preview shows exactly which events will appear, so there are no surprises.

Step 2 — Choose Your Format

Control what details each event line shows:

  • Information to Include — Toggle on or off: Store Logo, Event Name, Game, Date, Start Time, Entry, and Prize. Show only what matters for the format.

  • Include Information Titles — Turn this on to print field labels (like "Date:" and "Start Time:") for a clean, structured look, or off for a sleeker, minimal layout.

  • Additional Prompt Details — Describe the look you want: a background ("dark wood texture with neon accents"), a border style, or any other creative direction. The AI follows your styling requests exactly.

Step 3 — Generate & Use

Tap Generate and the AI builds a clean, square poster featuring your store branding at the top and your selected event lines laid out clearly below — with no duplicated information and no extra invented details. The final image is automatically trimmed to its natural aspect ratio, then dropped straight into your news post as the image.

From there, publish your news to auto-share it with Discord and Bluesky, and use the manual share buttons to push it to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and beyond.
