New Features: Store Payments with Stripe
Stripe Logo
Your community can already use Game Haven Guild to find your events, reserve your tables, and join your memberships. Now the same app collects the money — through Stripe, and straight into your own Stripe account.
No more collecting cash at the counter for a $5 event entry. No more chasing membership dues by hand. Set your prices in the app, flip on the payment types you want, and Game Haven Guild handles the checkout — while your money lands in your Stripe account, under your control.
Your Stripe Account, Your Money
Payments run through Stripe Connect — but this isn't a middleman setup. You connect your own Stripe account once, and every charge goes directly to you: your balance, your payouts, your full Stripe dashboard for reports and financials.
You keep all the native Stripe tools along the way: hosted checkout, saved cards, refunds, and (with one click from your Payments page) your full payouts and reporting view.
New to Stripe Connect? Here's how it works, and the docs walk you through everything.
Three Payment Types, One Setup
Head to Payments in your stores Advanced Settings, connect your account, and turn on the kinds of payments you want to collect:
Event Registrations — collect entry fees for events and game sessions. Paid events use Stripe Checkout, and your refund policy is applied automatically when someone drops.
Reservations — collect table reservation fees at checkout. Price each table by duration, from 2-hour blocks up to full 8-hour bookings.
Memberships — collect sign-up and renewal payments through Stripe. Each level can offer monthly and annual pricing, members can switch plans on their own, and they manage their card and billing through a self-serve Stripe portal — no more "can you update my card?" calls.
Your Prices, Synced Automatically
Here's the part that changes your day-to-day. You never touch Stripe's product catalog — the app does it for you:
Set an entry fee on an event, and a Stripe product appears with that price. Change the fee, and the price updates.
Price a table per duration, and each duration gets its own price.
Set monthly and annual costs on a membership level, and Stripe starts billing recurring subscriptions.
Make something free, and its Stripe product is archived automatically.
One currency setting covers everything too — pick your store's currency once, and every cost field uses it.
Refunds on Your Terms
You decide how refunds work, right on the Payments page: how many days before an event or reservation a customer can cancel and get their money back — or zero days if you don't offer refunds. When a cancellation is eligible, the refund happens automatically through Stripe.
One quick tip: turn on Stripe's customer email receipts so every charge and refund sends a real receipt. Open your Stripe email settings and enable "Email successful payments to customers" and "Email customers about refunds."
Ready When You Are
Nothing goes live half-configured. Payment types stay locked until your Stripe onboarding is fully complete, and the app keeps an eye on your account status — if Stripe ever needs more information from you, you'll know right away.
The payments setup is available now under Payments from your stores Advanced Settings. Connect your account, turn on the payment types you want, and let the app run your store's register.
